From the courtyard environment rises Arken, three levels of wood and glass with south-facing terraces that open up to the wildlife and savannah. The shape and choice of materials give the feeling of a ship anchored in the landscape.
At Arken you wake up with the savannah in your sights and the animals moving below. The beds are centered and face the large glass windows, so the landscape is always the first thing you see. Some rooms have glass floors that open onto a dining area below the building, one of Eriksberg's most unexpected ways to get up close to the wildlife.

Furniture, floors, carpets and wallpaper are custom-made and each suite has its own theme — Urberg, Forest and Sky — taken from Eriksberg's flora and fauna.
